The Village of Ilion Police Department will be receiving federal funding to assist with traffic safety education. The Police Department will be receiving $16,950. The funds will be used for Child Passenger Safety program projects, as well as for the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program.

The Village of Ilion Fire Department has been awarded $40,375 in federal Department of Homeland Security Funding to install a new diesel exhaust ventilation system.
