Fire Prevention Week October 4-10, 2009

The Ilion Fire Department will be conducting various activities during the week of October 4-10 in observation of National Fire Prevention Week. In addition to programs at the school and walk around to area businesses, there was an open house at the fire station on October 7^th during the evening.Thank you to all those who attended and to all those who provided a demonstration. • Have the fire alarms in your home been checked on a regular basis
• Have you established an escape plan should a fire be in your home
• Have you inspected the electrical appliance cords for wear and tear
• Have you established a meeting place should members of your family need to leave the home because of a fire
